Adding Colour to your Illustrations
SCREEN TUTORIAL
How to Colour an Illustration
Firstly you should have converted your scanned raster images to vectorized images and dropped them into your IMAGES folder.
Now that’s done, you can move on to the fun part…adding the colour and creating effects!
You can colour an illustration prior to importing it into your book pages or alternatively import it directly into the book page and colour it there. The latter is recommended as you know can clearly see the size of the image in relation to the size of your book page and you can adjust size and line thickness before proceeding with the colour. If the outline is too thin, you can add thickness if necessary using the outlining tool and redefine your image. You can also edit or move the nodes that make up all the lines and curves in the vector drawing.
